Father God, thank You that You promise to work everything out for the good
of those who follow You (Romans 8:28). I proclaim that promise over my
family and specifically over my husband. I pray that no matter what he is
going/has gone/will go through - large or small - that You will bring Yourself
glory through it and that it would be woven into his testimony. May my husband trust Your Word when You promise that in everything he is more than a conqueror
(Romans 8:37). I pray that truth would be
real and tangible in every situation my husband faces and that it would help me,
as his wife, not to be anxious. As I put my fears aside, help me be convinced
that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor
the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all
creation, will be able to separate my husband from Your love (Romans 8:38-39) and I ask that he would always remember how much You love him.
I pray this in the name of Christ Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.
(The prayer above was taken from For the Love of Our Children and adapted to be made applicable for our husbands).
