Please be praying for the entire publication process of the book. I submitted the book to Crossbooks on July 23rd. It is currently undergoing a theology review. Since Crossbooks is a division of Lifeway Christian Bookstores, every book that is published has to take part in the theology review. My manuscript is now being reviewed by Biblical scholars who will ensure that what I have written agrees with their statement of faith and is theoloically sound. I am very grateful for this service!
I was told the theology review takes 1-2 weeks to complete. Upon completion, my manuscript will then be sent to an editor. All the while I am going to be designing the cover and working on other cosmetic tasks. I will be updating the blog as the book continues to move forward.
I am begging for your prayers. I am shaking in my boots at the thought of becoming an author, but I also know that in this I am being obedient to God. He has called me to publish this book. Please be praying for me, for the book, those it might impact, and for my marriage. I pray that I am worthy of the Call!
